I understand and empathize the fact that many of us do not have time for music related things but those of us who do can consider reading forward.

Well, for one of the songs (challagaali) I composed for my album 'Plz Vinaddu', one of my SF (Dancer Bhagawati) got innovative in defining a new style of karaoke. He took Tholi Prema's Gagananiki... song and substituted my tune on it. Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PPqRZOwkNk.



Not that I need someone to boost my confidence but this came as a pleasant surprise when I saw it. He did this long ago as soon as I completed and played the draft unmixed composition but throwing light now for others to know. Tells me that the industry needs my work and am committed to deliver sooner or later.

By the way, I have a feeling that this may be against any copyright violation, but since I am too small and this is a honest showcase of a budding musician, I can bring into the realms of creative ethics.

folks, my friend anil r (remember Gamyam's Enthavaraku song?) has done some excellent stuff for the movie LBW. looks like the MP3s are available all over. give it a try. well if you like music. i rate his songs on top of all the top 10 songs in raaga.com today. generally everyone is egoistic including me but when it comes to music i dont care praising or ridiculing. praising the the good work, whether my creativity or somebody else's. ridiculing the mediocre or plagiarized work of anybody. think of this, i liked LBWs music and its created by a friend. how do u think my goose bumps will be? among all, i liked "Reppapaatu Ee Kshanam".

anil helped me in introducing keyboard players and other folks in his network when all i had was creative tunes in heart and didnt knew what to do with them.

though music composition is my core, actually i lost the video but i acted in an ad on software testing with one of the heroines of LBW (Nishanti), she is brilliant and beautiful in my humble opinion. if i find the video, i will upload it.

by the way, i started compositions for my debut english album and will write something soon about it!

album update

Had significant progress in the weekend, and recording is complete. Mixing and other things are pending and hoping to release in a month or so. It may be worth noting that the title song for my second album is sung by Sreeram (of Indian Idol fame) and he acknowledged the uniqueness and strength in my composition (after all, when heart is fully involved, creativity is just a natural phenomenon).

Visit to sabarimala, Jan 04, 2011

I had concluded my ayyappa mala by visiting sabarimala and following the process like any other devotee. There were all kinds of troubles in the visit and something tells me that it is for good. Introspecting why I did what I did, I got more affirmative on the cause regardless of what the effect is going to be. I don't think it makes sense to articulate the difficulties in the path, or narrate the cause for my visit. It did not make sense to take any pictures at Sabarimala though we captured a couple of moments while taking Irumudi at Mettiguda ayyappa temple in Hyderabad (will upload in facebook later). I am looking forward for climbing those 18 steps again and witnessing the embodiment of the divine form again.

2011 begins

One day away from weekly office work - Was quite busy with AppLabs work till last Friday - 10 straight hours in the Super Good films recording studio on January 1st, 2011. I opened the year by making significant progress on recording my latest composition (sang it myself since it is very personal) and also by completing some of the pending work in the previous songs. Covered parts of 3 songs in total.

To my intellectual delightment one of my old-student/employee/friend/brother Chaitu (known as Krishna Chaitanya of the Sehari from Oye fame etc) gifted a lyric on me at 12:00 AM yesterday to support my current state, making me to get inspired from my own contributions to him and others. I never knew he would word one me to the extent what he did - he claims it is his synopsis about me :-). Rahul and Sahiti sang it perfectly inline with my spontaneous composition (I did it in less than an hour with a basic feed that I will improvise/instrument when I get time). I attribute my today's productivity to the power of my cause (while I keep my fingers crossed on the effect) living in my heart!
